Thanks for the response. However, the way I solved the issue was to attempt to Rename the file to something else. If unsuccessful, I stay in the current loop. If Successful, I'm the only one who has the file, because of the renamefile option and then I 'copyfile' it to the comet and then import the data into my necessary files.
