Port 25 is incorrectly reported as port 6400 in the message because Hex 0x0019 is interpreted as 0x1900, which is 6400.

Poor code in Comet Winsock Gateway. I think this has been fixed in current releases.

What program are you using to print to the email printer?

The next message from the server would be a 220 as in the following.....

Comet goes into a receive until that 220 or some numeric response comes back from the server or it times out (30 seconds).

This all goes according to RFC 821 (see link below). I think your exchange server is not talking to you. I cannot speculate about why.
