Found a second workstation using /PN=SALESR. The shortcut on the desktop was wrong. The one in the Start Menu was correct. About six months ago they upgraded their server and four workstations. Best Buy and the Geek Squad set up the worksations with instuctions from me. Alas, Small Business Server 2003 was just outside their training and experience. A lot of stuff wasn't done quite right or consistently.

I'll keep an eye on things from here to see if 386 is "the fix" for hung/phantom connections.
