I have a suggestion...
- I have a customer (20 users) who locked up every couple days.
- Restarted cometservices and all is well.
- When it locked the last time; under 'Users' it showed a PN that was old and no longer in the comet.ini.
- It locked all users every time that user attempted to get into Comet.
- That PN I would guess may still have been configured for S type dirs when all others were on C type dirs.
- I erased that .CFG file manually and changed the shortcut on the computer.
- The lockup problem went away.
*** When sysgen generates the CFG files can it first delete all CFG files in the directory that the comet.ini is located. This would have alleviated this problem. I would rather have someone call and say they can't get in comet than call and say everyone is booted out.***
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
