Just a note:
The Comet2008 just released is the official release. It is not a Beta release. Therefore, you will need a subscription for Comet 2008 to use it. Feature-wise it is the same as the 2007 release. There will be more to come in the future.
So, until you get your license update for 2008, use the 2007 release.
Speaking of license update emails, You should notice that there are now 2 files attached to the email. The first is License.txt, the same as always. There is a second file with the plug number as the file name(.txt). The security server will now look for that file first and if it is not found, will look for "license.txt". This is in response to a discussion in Las Vegas last year. Now you developers can keep all your customer licenses in one folder.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
