Time Issue

The comet time$ variable is very nice and would be great for 'random' use but the clock does not seem to update frequently enough. If there were 500 records in LUN(2), when this completed I may only have 100 records in LUN(3).

x$ = DSTAT("CL1") !!! UPDATE CLOCK FOR RANDOM key
pause(1)

Any comments or suggestions?
