I have mentioned it before but will do it again because I get a phone call a day from my customers on this. I have about 300 people every single day (sometimes several times a day) have to click a button that says 'Run this software'.
When running comet.exe from anything other than your personal local computer or a Windows domain server my customers receive a message that reads:
'The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?'
Windows XP peer to peer networks is where this happens constantly and unfortunately this is what most of my customers have.
I don't know how one gets their executable verified but I am sure it can be resolved by re-writing comet.exe in a .net environment.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
