Long read, it's night time and ready for sleep. Doing research, 3 biggest problems that Vista has are:
#1, UAC - Boy is this different. Clients being administrators?? Read Grant's link. UAC can be turned OFF.
#2, Microsoft dropped the ball with device drivers. Not everything is up-to-date. Hence printer problems.
#3, SOME popular, old, other software doesn't run right on Vista. Office 97?? Don't know...
One bright side. Vista SP1 is to be released shortly via Windows Update. Hope it fixes some of the above. Do a search on Vista SP1 for details. Microsoft and dates sometimes don't match up. I've heard April 23, April 29 or maybe some date in May.
