I tested Soundex and here are my results:
Enter Name auerbach soundex Value Is A612
Enter Name auerback soundex Value Is A612
Enter Name averback soundex Value Is A161
Enter Name orback soundex Value Is O612
Enter Name orbach soundex Value Is O612
Enter Name hourback soundex Value Is H612
Enter Name ourback soundex Value Is O612
After all, nobody can ever spell my name.
Of course some names work better
