The old proverb that the customer is always right can be mixed. UAC is too major a part of Vista to ignore. On the other hand, having a prompt come up that essentially says, "DO YOU REALLY, REALLY WANT TO RUN COMET" is a drag. Have to find a middle ground. Compared two programs IEXPLORE.EXE 7.0 and Sig's latest CometWorkstation2008.exe. Do properties on each and look at the VERSIONS tab. Study each displayed field and compare.. Is this of any use?? Sig's documenting each and every field to identify who and what they are. Kinda like a Fed 1040 form... I don't pay the Fed's for the pleasure of reporting my financial condition OR maybe I do and don't know it??
