EVENTSUB question

I had thought, apparently wrongly, that EventSubs "stacked" like GOSUB/RETURN and ENTER/EXIT. My problem is with ENTER/EXIT. If I ENTER a dialog program which closes with a null EVENTSUB, after the RETURN to the calling program I need to reset the EVENTSUB in that program whether it's a dialog or a QCRT program with HYPERLINKS.

So, if I'm correct, does it hurt to do precautionary EVENTSUB resets after every ENTER? That way, as I replace Extended Window popups with dialogs, the calling program won't be screwed up.
