Is the OLE DB gateway (type 1) limitted to the interface to Crystal Reports or can we be creative and write our own interface to something else (like Acrobat)?
We successfully modified the DDE Fax interface (in C++) to talk to Acrobat years ago, but unfortunately some of the Acrobat functions that we now want to add are not available thru the DDE interface but are in the OLE interface.
