Hi Brian, I used a copy of demo program DIRECT.IBS and modified it to run as a external subroutine in my program and have now found that the problem wasn't with the COS.AppendCmdFilter routine but by not running COS.GetViewWnd before running COS.Init/AppendCmdFilter. I thought that by setting cosCWnd$ to the handle of the window created would have been sufficient.
In another program, also using a copy of DIRECT.IBS, I found that when USE.METAFILE = 1, it had the same affect with no response to a Mouse Click. The Command Filter was setup within Start/End of Metafile. When should Metafile be activated?
