Hi Otto. Metafiles can be pretty confusing to use because you need to understand how they are affected by other functions. Before I try and explain how they work I'd like to ask you to first consider using the new framework published in the latest DLG folder. Examine and run the CtlDemo program and you'll see how much easier it is to use than the old mechanism. There is no need to use metafiles with the new system as it automatically performs that function. If after examining the new stuff if you still want to persue the older technique, the just let me know.
