Change the extension on the report from .IBR to .IBP and they will not appear in the reporter front end but can still be modified by a text editor and run by QREPORTS. (I just picked "P" to mean Published).

If you really want to try something cool with the report use the new "ENTER" function. Write your own standard Enter programs to embed in your report. You can do anything, you could prompt the user for values, you could use a lookup table, the options are endless. I have a movefile enter program that executes to deliver the file created to a remote pulbic server.
