Just an observation, your edit mask suggests a 5.0 declared field. No "$" signs, no "," commas, no "." decimals, nothing special. So why use an edit mask?? I think you can get results by the following:

1000 FORMAT COUNT instead of 1000 FORMAT COUNT,"####0-" Agree??
