Everyone knows that I am a CED diehard... By the way did I mention CED 04.02 is ready?
Anyway, I've been reading here about the new compiler with the procedure/subroutines/functions and the new big big filesize (8,000 bytes right?) and all these new bigger variable with nearly unlimited memory space...
Well, I tried and I must admit defeat... I have no clue how to compile a program larger than 64k, using more than 56k of space and with any variable larger than 254.
My arrays are all maxed out; I'm counting bytes to keep the program from using more than the old maximum (which is already so much more than in the Q-days).
Please someone enlighten me!
Btw, I do have UltraEdit and I do use it occasionally. It is missing many of the cool features of CED but this is a Windows world...
