1. Be sure you've downloaded the latest cometanywhere installation package from signature's download site. if you're running 330, be sure to download caupd330.exe.

2. Have your cometanywhere client point to cosw.exe, not comet.exe. if you point to comet.exe, it copies cosw to a temp folder, and launches it from there. the comet anywhere update you're download is updating the cosw, etc. in the temp folder, not your original location. when you start comet again, it copies the original cosw back to your temp folder, and overwrites the update you just received. so for cometanywhere sessions, just point to cosw.exe.

3. if you still have problems after changing the shortcut, review & clear the contents of your windows temp folder.

* i'm currently having a similar problem. i suspect its because i'm running 331, and there is no 331update on the website for cometanywhere. i havent fully investigated this yet. but if you're on 330, performing the above steps should take care of this for you.
