Joe:

This isn't documented yet so don't feel badly that you didn't know :-).

1) If your users are running DX from one of your menus, you can pass in COMMON the directory info for where the reports are kept. Just load the directory name into the first 3 bytes of byte-aligned COMMON and RUN DX.

2) Not sure here if you're wanting to pass the report name to DataExpress or to the Reporter back-end for processing. If you want simply to run the report, you can do it the way you've done in the past by passing the report name (the .ibr file name) to QREPORTS on UTL. If you want to startup the DataExpress editor with a report name you may have noticed that this occurs when you select a report from DX and click "Edit with DataExpress". The report info is passed in byte-aligned COMMON this way: CfilesDir$;RptsDir$;RptName$
CfilesDir$ is the dir where #CFILES is located, RptsDir$ is the dir where the .ibr is located, RptName$ is the .ibr name. Load this into COMMON and run DataExp.

This info is assuming you're running version 8.04 of UTL.
