Need Help with a crash

Customer's system crashed with a 9A error.
We told him to run FilChek and he did. But it froze; no error message just ran for a couple of seconds and then the progress display stopped.
This gets better.
They retried the job that crashed and now it works!
Hold on: they are running Comet 2006 630.08 and DataBase server 7.04
Where should I go now???
