When I started Windows printing, I followed Brian's examples. A couple of tips to save you time.
1) I only use TWIP.INCH. LET X = (1.552 * TWIPINCH). Using HALF, QUARTER etc drove me crazy :)
2) You can put a lot of fonts into COSW.INI and invoke them with (SelectSysFont=n). Take a look at the Global INI settings. I put this font stuff there so everybody has the fonts.
3) To make a Windows print job printer independent you have to know the printer's margins. There are commands in Comet to get the margins. I only use the top and left margins. I save them as XOFF and YOFF. So if I want to print 1.5 inches from the top of the paper, I calculate LET Y = (1.500 * TWIP.INCH) - YOFF. I subtract YOFF and the printer add it back. Net is 1.5 inches from the top of the paper.
