compiling thru Ultraedit Crashes COMET

When compiling a program in Ultraedit I get the following error message..

MessageWait Error: WaitForFlag timed out

Compile Error: GetReadData failed

Error: Unknown error during compile: (-1)

This is freezing Comet at the server level, the only way I can restart Comet is to reboot the server?
