- We have several hundred computers running comet at 250 locations
- These same computers ran C2k4, C2k5 etc
- They have a cosw.ini that is setup to create temp files (htm and txt printer) in c:\windows\temp even though they are not on c2k7. This is because C2k4 created the ini with that setting 5 years ago.
- I think cosp.exe needs to create the files in the user's temp dir despite what the ini, registry or what anything else says.
I am thinking of maybe adjusting qmonitor to launch a vbs script to delete/alter the cosw.ini file(if we can find it) each time the operator enters comet. We don't use the ini file for anything anyway.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
