Compiler Bug?

When compiling directly through mtb by passing the source file name with the command in the source file:

!s [source],[dir]
!o [object],[dir]
!l txx,e
!r qmonitor

Where the Object file directory is unavailable, the compiler compiled it to the source directory. The output did show me this, but not as an error or a warning, just in the banner at the top. I was at a loss as to where the object went.

Shouldn't this be a warning?
