Launch mnemonic Result String

The documentation for the Launch Mnemonic refers to a Result String.
I have been unable to find documentation for the contents of this result string.

In my searching, from somewhere I found...
If ihexdec(String$) <= 32 then
! the Launch Failed
Endif

Is this the best info available on this?
