Seems like Robert has the most experience with Credit Card Processing.
Did not see anybody doing it with XAP though.
We have purchased the PC Charge SDK (... now replaced with a new product) from Verifone.
I worked on a IB/VB.net process to integrate it with Comet.
Was using a Winsock gateway to send credit info to a "server" system that was
running the Verifone software that took credit info and sent it out to processor,
Then sent the result back to the Comet Session that requested it.
Currently still in development on back burner.
How Hard, most likely depends upon how flexible you want to make it.
If it is just major credit cards, Visa, MC, Discover going to a single bank it
may not be that bad. If you want to allow other cards, debit, gift, etc and allow the
user to choose their own credit processor, it may be quite involved.
As I recall, even with the SDK and the Verifone Server Software, I was dismayed at the myriad of variations.
An nowadays meeting the security standards can be tough also, especially without using a package(SDK) written by people who understand them all.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
