Comet Window Size

Is there a way thru IB to make the screen font larger for a particular application and restore it when done? It would be the equivalent of doing a cwfont, selecting a font size of 24, and then running a program? I have a client who wants to use a wireless barcode reader, but would like to see the screen from a distance, hence the larger font size. Yes, I can always set up a separate window with the desired font size, but I was wondering if I could do it in a program.
