ODBC question

I am just curious, any one out there use ODBC ?

I started experimenting with the ODBC driver a couple of months ago. First limitation that that hits me is the tiny size of the command buffer aka 254 bytes (minus the control commands).

How are we suppose to be able to perform an MySQL update command with such a puny buffer? Did I miss something?

I was hoping that Comet 32 would resolve this with the larger & DYNAMIC variables, but my test shows that the Gateway Devices are not supported at all by Comet 32.

The new "FILE (lun) CSV" command is not there either.

I was relying on these things to work together to get my next project completed. I am trying to get a mySQL "slave" database that would allow my client's phone system IVR easy access to customer records.

Pas facile !!
