Just got done reading this article. Intel is coming out with the CE3100 chip that can be embedded within a HDTV set. Anyone using Vista and has MS's Gadgets installed has a right side screen vertical view of various user installed gadgets (weather, stock market, cpu/memory usage, etc.) On news shows, a caption bar at the bottom of the screen that scrolls right to left OR left to right detailing other news (sport scores, latest news, stock market stuff, etc. Merge this with your favorite TV show or movie. But, think advertising and an ability to point and click. (Today's internet). Your remote control will be the mouse. Just click and buy those shoes while you watch TV. Hmmmmm..... What virus protection software goes with the purchase of a HDTV? It's internet driven...
