They're just a bunch of bullies !! They know they are incompatible, so why not instead have an additional tag to "Allow" IE8 and work by default in compatibility mode???

And, what did they break anyway? What is the tag(s) that they hijacked?

How about we add a message to all our web sites that simply say "Internet Explorer 8 Does Not Support Our Site - Use at IE8 at your own risk! Click [Here] to download any other browser"
