Sometime in they past, I lost the connection between # and CAW and set up this printer in my development laptop's INI.
Printer = LP5,W ,N, ,#,;
It works and prints to my network printer. There's no CAW involved on my development laptop. I changed my default printer to pdfFactory and the output went there.
I tried Jim's
Printer = LP5,W ,N, ,*,;
And that works too.
Last week I posted a help request about a customer where I had used a # printer at Clerk A. When Comet was added at Clerk B and C. It would work with their TCP/IP printer (Error 30). I had to changed the # to the printer's name. Maybe I'll try the "*" and see if that will work with the TCP/IP printer.
