One of my client uses one of their IP devices (Digi TS-16) to connect multiple barcode scanners and digital scales to a single Comet host. Multiple labels printers are also connected using cheap IP print servers. Very handy in the shipping department. Another client use a single port IP-to-serial (Digi-One SP) to connect a digital scale for postal application with a keyboard wedge scanner.

Technology is so fun !
