OK well then if both #CFILES and #FILES are on the same dir (thus everyone has access to both but some want to use one and some want to use the other) I'd suggest making your own menu choices for the front-ends: one runs DX and one runs QREPORT. The old reporter didn't use a dir name on the running of QREPORTS however so those users will need access to UTR before UTL if you really want to run the report thru the old back-end. I'm a little confused however. They can run old report specs thru the new back-end (QREPORTS) and the results should be the same.
