My brother in law is a vet, he specializes in nutrition. He has built the most complicated spreadsheet ever that will analyse everything that is ingested and summarize the results for health, weight gain/loss, whatever. There are massive data tables involved which have taken years to refine and hence are quite valuable.
He is looking to sell it and was asking me about the security of Excel. From what I have read there appears to be people out there that can crack the security in Excel fairly easily.
How do you market something without having it stolen.
Should I rewrite his spreadsheet in Comet and stick it on the web?
Seems to me that it would suit a cometanywhere type application.
Any thoughts.
