One of my clients is having problems with Comet Anywhere.
The client has 21 CometAnywhere Licenses split among 10 remote showooms. Two of the showrooms (Chicago and Toronto) have no problem, they can log on, enter orders, etc. When I log in from my office with Comet Anywhere I have no problem.
The other 8 showrooms have a problem (LA, New York, Atlanta, Texas and others). They connect to the Host just fine and get the "enter password prompt". When they enter their password a Menu Program named "Z" should run. And indeed option 12 STATUS shows that Z is running. However on the remote computer the menu does not come up, the operator only see's a yellow hyphen that just keeps rotating and rotating. Eventually Comet Anywhere unloads on the remote PC.
The problem started on Tuesday. On Wednesday the problem disappeared. This afternoon (Thursday) the problem resurfaced. The client is running Comet 2004 on an old Novell O.S.
Any ideas?
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
