A Windows Share? Best definition I could find, by searching the internet, is that ANY Windows path can be associated with a drive letter. But the root is out of bounds!! Read stuff going back to LAN Manager. All MS stuff. From my point of view, why complicate stuff?? Is it security? Ease of use?? Simplicity? What's the point? I've got a solution now and it's simple!! Please advise to the devil's intent in detail.
