Dam Jim!! GOOD JOB!! I will look at Sig's work more often then waiting 3 years to implement. Sometimes local stuff blanks out Sig stuff. This was implemented in Comet 2005. This is what we can expect in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009?? Some observations: email.ini can be used to localize up to a single e-mail. The more info you supply to INI, the more focused it is automatically. In IB programs, it's the opposite. The more details you use here, the more flexible your options are. Like billing customer's (IB) or just informing your manager of a specific report (INI, could be a link.) I would like to suggest a super one-time-event scenario. For any given report, offer a dialog entry screen that let's the user enter TO: SUBJECT: TEXT:.
Can you have multiple TO's? VERIFICATION. How can you verify an email has been sent? No interface to existing email clients SENT folder. I don't expect this, come on!! I didn't pay because I NEVER received your email!! US Post Office, no problems. Your ISP?? PRINT SCREENS! Sig offers a Windows printer selection. How about a Comet printer selection?? Last question. SECURITY. If it's this easy to email, is this a problem? Any report, any screen or data can be transferred to any email address. Hmmm! One last chance. Problem??
