I needed to import some large flat files and hence wanted a large field size so I could easily find the field delimiters. COSM32 served my prpose beautifully. So easy.
However I have been experimenting with it on three different machines and I get various annoying traits of it or UEdit (v 9.1)on each machine.
Sometimes I need to open a CAPI session to get it work, sometimes I can't see the output listing, sometimes it won't list at all.
So I decided to erase and start again. Installed UE from the beginning, worked thru all (?) the steps no worries.
Compile happily normally and try COSm32 and I get :
Cfam login succesful
Processing command file: C:\y2k\bcs\b0rs.ibs
Dir not found for pathname: C:\y2k\bcs\b0rs.ibs
I have a semi-working version on one of the other machines so it is not important to me but it could be for someone else.
