At client's site. Brought my developement Vista client and Windows Server 2008 pc. Worked perfectly at my office. Just unplugged everything, took it to client's site and put it back together. From server, could ping the world. The world couldn't ping my server. DAM! What's this?? For the server, had to go to Network and Sharing Center and turn back on Network Sharing, File Sharing. How did this get turned off?? Then had to go to Firewall Settings and re-define my Comet port exceptions. They just disappeared.. Had to delay my demo because of this. I guess you can't assume anything... This scenario was unexpected. Dealers beware!!
