Back on 9/24 I posted this.
=====================================================================
IT guy changed Domain at a customer to integrate with Corporate. Also changed all printer UNC's. Didn't warn me.
So, all the users are rejoined to the domain. My support PC, inside their network was working at 7AM today. At 10AM it wasn't. Trying to do a uninstall/reinstall remotely and with the IT guy's on site support.
WS2008.393 gives "Cannot run 16 bit". Message says "Cannot find" and shows path to "C:\D&S\LB.NA\Local Settings\Temp\Pft1B.tmp\setup.exe" or "component".
LB is me and NA is new Domain.
The Pft1B directory doesn't get created.
Tried unzipping 393 to \temp and running setup.exe from there. Same message with out the pdrb.tbp folder.
Tried fresh download from SSI.

I was on site yesterday evening and had a change to work with the local IT guy on my support PC.
We ran the install and got the same error. He did the following.
1) In System Properties/Environment Variables he changed the TMP settings from "%UserProfile%Local Settings/Temp" to "C:\Temp"
2) Same change for TEMP
3) Created a C:\Temp directory.
The Workstation install completed correctly and Comet is running properly.
