Bad assumption on my part

I have been using the Comet session number, from PSTAT stored at positions 60 and 61, as a way to identify the comet sessions on a single pc (used as part of a dos file name.)

Just realized that with a CometAnywhere Session, this is getting the Session number off the HOST CA system. (In hindsight, this makes sense.)

So on a PC running both Full Comet and CometAnywhere (unlikely as that may be) there is the potential that a FullComet Session and a CometAnywhere session will return the same Session ID.

Does anyone have a thought as to another IB function I could use to return something unique to each session on a client? Or somethings that I could combine together to make something unique.

TIA
