I actually use Acrobat to create a PDF so I can preview. Saves tons of paper when writing & debugging printing code. I found that the resolution is even good enough to test printing that involves barcodes. Pretty handy for labels - just remember those pesky 1/4" margins on some printers, also print with no scaling to get true picture.

If you hope to do anything with the HTML printer, you better send HTML commands. Another learning curve.
