This confuses me. Maybe it is true that the documentation does not include a complete sample program. In many cases, a test program is better than "documentation". With a test program of a few lines, you can change details and explore nuances. Here is a one line test program for the msgbox statement:


     msgbox "Hi There"

For the function, the documentation enumerates all of the possible values for the type and result.
