You don't necessarily have to sacrifice the use of F1 as your help key. You can modify NOVA to become a launch pad for CmtHelpD based up the context-sensitive info automatically passed into NOVA by Comet. You'll find the source to NOVA in the XTL directory. It's called XNOVA. Or you could reassign the F1 key to your custom program.

A while back I answered a question for Mike Saunders about using the NOVA mechanism to launch .chm files. Here's a link to that thread. The second post from me in the thread includes some sample code for dispatch functionality. It will shed some light on how NOVA works and may give you some ideas about how you can use CmtHelpD with it.'
