If they are running CometExplorer by clicking on the "Comet Explorer" hyperlink or by running the CometEx utility in UTL and they are using the standard security QMONITOR (determined by the presence of QSTART2 file in COS or REL) Comet should be passing whatever password they entered in QMONITOR to CometExplorer. Which version of Comet is this? Also check the version of UTL as that's where the CometEx program is. I guess you'd better post the startup details so we can take a look.
