I installed a new server (Windows Server 2003, Raid 5 and Comet Data base Server 8.04 and Security 8.02.
This replaced a 4 year old server running Windows 2003 Small Business Server, no Raid and Comet Data Base Server 7.05 and Security 7.03.
The replacement was done Sunday Night.
The only change to the firewall rules was to point to the new server.
I am having an intermittent problem with XAP.
The new server is hosting XAP and Comet Anywhere (same as the previous server). The problem is that when a multiple page Credit Report displays in the XAP app, the first page displays very quickly and the subsequent pages take a long time or never display.
Numerous users from around the country have complained about the problem.
When I launch the XAP app locally (behind the firewall) there is no problem with the page display.
When I test the system late at night when nobody is accessing the server the multiple page reports display quickly.
We put a packet sniffer on the new server and found numerous TCP Offload Check Sum errors. We disabled TCP Offload on the Nic and still have the same problem.
I have attached a packet sniffing log taken today and a CGILOG File from yesterday. Ignore any CGI records before 01/25/2009.
Any ideas?
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
