I must disagree with the author on one point. He states that "twenty-odd geologists" and "twenty odd geologists" mean different things. I've seen geologists on Nova, the Science Channel, and the like. The two phrases are equivalent.

This minor flaw is offset is by his praise for programmers who use underscores in their programs and not hyphens.
