The arrow thing is easy. There is a 'draw a line' option where you tell it the x and y coordinates to start a line, the x and y coordinates to end a line and the length of the line. That should allow to draw your arrow and put your data inside. re: Grey background with white letters. I've done black background with white letters. So my guess is that you can control the degree of black for the background and do your white letters. Let me know if you need samples of how I did. Will be glad to forward.
