I understand that, but I have releases in Beta and Production and if the user reports an issue they will not have access to the QTILITY menu and I want to know what version they are running. This came up becuase I just put 9.0 of UTL into BETA. QREPORT and QFILES allways displayed the version number as well as the banner on all Utilities allways displayed the version number up top. I would think this is just good practice.
