Grant, here is my case.
I have a Vista 32 Business System.
Two users setup.
An Admin user and and a standard user.
(As a side note: I do have CometAnywhere installed)
I do not install the Comet Server Product.
While logged in as the standard user,
I have installed Comet Workstation v.393
I have v.393 connecting to a server system running Comet Server Products 8.02
I have v.393 connecting to a server system running Comet Server Products 9.00
Everything is fine. I know my connections, file server access, firewall rules are okay.
I uninstall v.393, REBOOT just to make sure, and install v.396
When I start Comet it fails with a dialog that says:
One or more file servers required to run Comet are unreachable.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
